Atlanta, GA (April 20, 2023) – Impact100 Atlanta, a women’s philanthropic organization, announced 273 members and therefore $273,000 in grant funds to be awarded this year during the April 19th Big Reveal event at The Piedmont Room at Park Tavern. Impact100 Atlanta more than doubled its membership from last year’s 130 Founding Members, each contributing $1,000 to this year’s grant pool. The funds will be awarded in three high impact grants of $91,000 to nonprofits serving the Atlanta area.
Founding President, Sarah Levitt, shared, “We are so thrilled to be able to award 3 grants this year, tripling the impact we’ll be able to make in the Atlanta community. We look forward to our future growth and being able to make a significant difference in Atlanta through funding high impact grants. We encourage all Atlanta nonprofits to dream big and apply for our grants.”
Impact100 Atlanta accepts grant applications from nonprofits for projects or programs serving the greater metro Atlanta area in the following five focus areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Family; Health & Wellness; and Environment, Preservation, & Recreation. Member committees will review the grant applications, assess the financial viability, and conduct site visits to select a finalist in each focus area. The ultimate grant recipients will be selected by a vote of the entire membership in November, with each woman having one vote.
