Atlanta, GA (May 20, 2022) – Impact100 Atlanta, a new women’s philanthropic organization, announced that they will be awarding a $130,000 grant to a Metro Atlanta area nonprofit this year. The announcement was made at the May 19th Big Reveal event at Buckhead Art & Company where it was announced that 130 Founding Members donated $1,000 each into the grant pool to collectively fund the $130,000 grant.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this significant grant opportunity to Atlanta nonprofits,” said Founding President, Sarah Levitt. “This inaugural high-impact grant is only the beginning of the positive difference that Impact100 Atlanta will help make in the Atlanta community. We look forward to the coming years as we expect our membership to grow, allowing us to offer additional transformational grants to our local community.”

Impact100 Atlanta will consider grant applications from nonprofits serving the greater metro Atlanta area in five focus areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Family; Health & Wellness; and Environment, Preservation, & Recreation. Grant review committees will conduct a rigorous and in-depth review process and choose a finalist in each focus area. Impact100 Atlanta will award a single grant of $130,000 to the organization voted upon by its membership at the annual meeting. The grant recipient will be announced in November 2022.
